The Council sits twice a month, usually on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month.
There are two types of monthly meeting –
- Full Council – discussion of general matters affecting the Parish and the review of current Planning Applications.
- Finance & General Purpose & Planning – separate committees sit to approve finance and review current Planning Applications.
These 2 meetings run consecutively on the same night.
The public are welcome at meetings however are only allowed to speak at Full Council meetings during the Public Forum as once the Council is in session the public are not allowed to contribute.
Meetings start at 7.30pm and are held at Tanworth and Earlswood Village Halls on alternate months for the two meetings.
There is also an Annual Parish Assembly held yearly which welcomes reports from many groups within the Parish. If you wish to see reports then you should contact the Parish office. (Note the Parish may make a small charge in some cases for frequent or multiple requests.)
