The Council is made up of 12 Parish Councillors who are elected every four years. Councillors may be co-opted if no resident puts her or his name forward.
There are nominally 6 Councillors from Tanworth and 6 from Earlswood.
Councillors are unpaid.
Councillors must act at all times in the best interests of the parish as a whole. Councillors do not allow personal interests to interfere, or appear to interfere, with their ability to act in the best interests of the community.
