Alcester Police SNTs. Latest Weekly Report. Sunday 12th June 2022

Incidents of a public interest from the last week:-

ALCESTER

  • *Theft / Rogue Trader. Seymour Road. Alcester. Two men went to the house of a vulnerable adult and persuaded them that the driveway needed some work. The resident was driven to a cashpoint in Alcester so they could withdraw money for the work. The men were later challenged by a family member and no work was completed. The men were in a van with a registration number starting ‘YN13’. Enquires ongoing. 9th and 10th June. 0071 10/06/2022

HASELOR

  • *Burglary. Haselor. Occupied dwelling entered and a Blue Mulberry wallet and car keys taken. Subsequently a Silver Volvo X60 and a Audi S7 was also stolen from the premises. The Audi was later found in Birmingham. Between 11.30pm and 11.45pm Wednesday 8th June. 0026 09/06/2022

DUNNINGTON

  • *Damage / Attempt Theft. Dunnington. Two offender(s) have tried to steal three large statues from rear garden of premises. They have been disturbed and made off. Damage was caused to the statues during the attempt theft. took place on 05/06/2022 23:00. Crime No: 23/23518/22

BIDFORD

  • *Vehicle Crime. Spangle Way, Bidford. Roof of works van cut and peeled back in order to gain access to inside. Various tools stolen. occurred between Thu 09/06/2022 19:00 and Fri 10/06/2022 10:00. Crime number 23/24128/22
  • *Damage. Tower Hill, Bidford. Damage caused to window by unknown means. took place between 07/06/2022 22:00:00 and 08/06/2022 07:30. 0211 09/06/2022
  • *Vehicle Crime. Blamore Rise, Bidford. Both number plates stolen from car. took place between 06/06/2022 17:30:00 and 07/06/2022 08:00. Crime No: 23/23655/22
  • *Vehicle Crime. Waterloo Road, Bidford. Works van stolen from business. Unfortunately later found burnt out in Worcestershire. took place on 03/06/2022 22:37. Reported on 6th June. Crime No: 23/23498/22

WILMCOTE

  • *Burglary. Station Road, Wilmcote. Outbuilding entered and various tools stolen. On police arrival two suspects were detained at the scene and following police enquires a third person was arrested at a property nearby. Enquiries ongoing. took place between 10/06/2022 17:35:00 and 10/06/2022 20:27. 0336 10/06/2022

SAMBOURNE

  • *Vehicle Crime. Whitemoor Lane, Sambourne. Front number plate unscrewed and stolen from car. Around midday on Thursday 9th June. Crime number 23/24014/22
  • *Burglary. Jill Lane, Sambourne. Occupier heard a vehicle outside their dwelling. While checking the premises it was found the front door handle and lock had been tampered with. Entry was not gained. Vehicle left the area. Approx. 11.30pm Tuesday 7th June. 0111 08/06/2022

STUDLEY

  • *Burglary. Riverside, Studley. House entered and an untidy search made. Car keys were stolen and subsequently a BMW was also stolen from the property. Intel suggests the stolen vehicle headed North towards Shirley. 3.30am Saturday 11th June. 0052 11/06/2022
  • *Vehicle Crime. Station Road, Studley. Front and rear number plates on car unscrewed and stolen. occurred between Tue 07/06/2022 18:00 and Wed 08/06/2022 08:30. 0084 08/06/2022

HENLEY

  • *Damage. Stratford Road, Henley. Near to the junction of Warwick Road. Male Offender has smashed side window and windscreen of vehicle with unknown item. 0206 10/06/2022
  • *Vehicle Crime. High Street, Henley. Secure Land Rover Discovery stolen without key. occurred between Mon 06/06/2022 22:00 and Tue 07/06/2022 07:00. 0048 07/06/2022
  • *Theft. Shop, High Street, Henley. Two females have stolen various items by way of shoplifting. They have then got into a blue Jaguar S Type waiting for them outside, driven by a male. occurred on Sun 05/06/2022 15:40. 0225 05/06/2022

EARLSWOOD

  • *Theft. Earlsmere, Earlswood. Ring doorbell stolen. Taken on the 1st May. Reported 9th June. Crime No: 23/23981/22
