Incidents of a public interest from the last week:-

SAMBOURNE

  • *Attempt Theft of Dog, Astwood Bank end of Sambourne Lane, Sambourne. Occupants of vehicle have pulled up alongside caller and have stolen a Puppy which was being carried. The offending vehicle then drove off but threw the Puppy out before leaving the area towards Sambourne. The offenders vehicle is described as a Silver Mercedes with a registration number starting ‘YF19’. The driver was a white female with blond hair and the passenger who grabbed the dog was a white male, stocky build, 6’ with a shaved head. Four occupants in total. Details still being taken at the time of this report. 12.35pm Sunday 1st August. 0194 01/08/2021

COUGHTON

  • *Burglary. Coughton. Secure Barn entered. Panel removed by offenders in order to gain entry. Nothing believed stolen at the time. Between 26th & 28th July. 0341 28/07/2021

STUDLEY

  • *Theft. Mallard Road, Studley. Gazebo curtains and hose lock stolen from garden. Intel from the area suggests that two male offenders dressed in dark clothing entered the garden at 4am Friday 30th July. 0132 30/07/2021
  • *Anti-Social Behaviour. Brickyard Lane, Studley. Report of youngsters gathering on private land, damaging fences, throwing litter and generally being a nuisance to neighbours. Ongoing problem. Reported 29th July. 0274 29/07/2021
  • *Damage. Marble Alley, Studley. Door damaged to empty property. Three white young females were seen by the door at the time. 3.50pm Tuesday 27th July. 0225 27/07/2021

EARLSWOOD

  • *Theft. Juggins Lane, Earlswood. Secure compound broken into and alarm activated. 12.05am Thursday 29th July. 0003 29/07/2021
  • *Theft. Earlswood Common, Earlswood. Buccaneer Schooner caravan stolen. Details still being taken at the time of this report. After midnight 31st July / 1st August. 0211 01/08/2021

TANWORTH

  • *Burglary. Broad Lane, Tanworth. Secure house entered via rear patio. Untidy search made and car keys stolen. A Fiat 500 was then also stolen from the property. Between 27th & 28th July. 0265 28/07/2021

CLAVERDON

  • *Vehicle Crime. Church Field Cottages, Claverdon. Strimmer stolen from rear of works van. Three males were seen near to the van at the time and they drove off in a silver vehicle. Approx 5.45pm Tuesday 27th July. 0291 27/07/2021
