HENLEY
- *Damage. Rose Avenue, Henley. Rear window of car smashed by unknown means. Between 14th & 15th July. 0060 15/07/2021
EARLSWOOD
- *Suspicious Circumstances. Springbrook Lane, Earlswood. White van with two males on board seen acting suspiciously in the area. 1pm Wednesday 14th July. 0448 14/07/2021
- *Suspicious Circumstances. Shutt Lane, Earlswood. Male disturbed trying car door on drive. He left and got into a car that was waiting for him. 12.50am Monday 12th July. 0034 12/07/2021
- *Anti-Social Behaviour. Valley Road / Malthouse Lane, Earlswood. About seven quad bikes racing around the area and generally being a danger. Some of the quads had passengers. 2.50pm Sunday 11th July. 0230 11/07/2021
CLAVERDON
- *Suspicious Circumstances x 4 calls. Langley Road / Glebe Road, Church Road, Claverdon. Male going door to door selling items from a bag. Descriptions from callers passed to police. Daytime Tuesday 13th July. 0229 13/07/2021

Appeal for witnesses following fatal road traffic collision on A46 - We are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road collision on the A46 near Alcester on the evening of Wednesday 14th July. Police responded to reports of a collision involving a car and a bicycle on the northbound carriageway of the A46 between Salford Priors and Alcester at approximately 7.20pm. Ambulance crews, paramedics and an air ambulance were in attendance but despite best efforts, the cyclist, a 47-year-old-man from Birmingham, was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later. It is believed that the deceased had been taking part in an organised cycle time trial event at the time of the incident. The driver of the vehicle was assessed by paramedics and released. Next of kin have been informed. Police investigations are continuing. Have your say on school parking in Warwickshire - Warwickshire County Council, Warwickshire Police and the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Warwickshire are undertaking a review of parking outside Warwickshire’s schools. Inconsiderate, unsafe and illegal parking around schools is an ongoing concern for Headteachers, parents/carers and residents and puts the safety of children, and others, at risk. Partners and organisations are working together to review parking issues outside schools to greater understand and address the problems schools, parents, and the wider community experience. Partners would like to invite you as a parent or carer, school or local resident to participate in a (5 minute) school parking survey. All responses, which will remain anonymous, will be analysed, and used by partners to identify the specific issues and safety concerns that arise from it. Feedback will help focus efforts, and shape future initiatives to address unsafe and inconsiderate school parking, helping to make the roads outside and around Warwickshire schools safer. Cllr Wallace Redford, Warwickshire County Council’s portfolio holder for Transport and Planning, said: “We recognise that there can be a variety of different problems with parking at our schools across Warwickshire. We are very keen to hear from Head teachers, parents, carers and residents about the problems that they are experiencing in their areas to help us better prioritise our resources to make things better.” This is your opportunity to share your thoughts, ideas, and concerns about inconsiderate, unsafe and illegal parking, outside and around local Warwickshire schools. If it's not 999, try going online - Warwickshire Police is encouraging the public to try reporting non-emergency crime online, by using the force’s website. Currently the vast majority of non-emergency reports come into the force via the 101 telephone line. However, since the force moved to the Single Online Home website platform (part of a national project to standardise police websites across the country), the public are now able to report incidents online. The benefits of using the website are:
· Incidents or crimes which don’t require an immediate police response can be reported in a user’s own time and at their own pace.
· It offers exactly the same service as calling 101 – the force has a dedicated Digital Desk team who work on online reports.
· It can save callers waiting in a queue to speak to someone on 101 – which unfortunately can sometimes get busy during peak periods.
· It helps to keep resources free for emergency 999 calls.
· When a report is submitted, the user will receive an email with all of their submitted details for reference.
· As well as the online reporting feature, the website also contains lots of information and guidance, including advice on who you should report specific matters to.
