Planning is one of the major activities in which the Parish Council is involved.

Their role is to review plans submitted to Stratford District Council and look at how they might affect the local residents and environment. The Parish comments along with other parties such as neigbours, are considered by Stratford DC's Planning Officers.

The Parish discusses planning issues at the Planning & General Purpose Meetings held every 1st Thursday of the month (see the Minutes page for dates). Members of the Public are welcome to attend and are welcome to speak prior to the start of the formal meeting.

Stratford now has facilites for plans to be submitted and viewed online. You can search in several ways and even view applications for a specific property. Stratford have loaded many plans going back several years.
