Parish Meetings

The Council sits twice a month, usually on the 1st Thursday and 3rd Thursday of the month.The public are welcome to both meetings. Meetings normally begin at 7:30 with a Public forum to allow questions and points to be raised. Once the Council is in session, the Public are not allowed to contribute.

Tanworth and Earlswood Village Halls are used on alternate months for the two meetings.

There are two type of monthly meeting. There is also an Annual General Meeting which welcomes reports from many groups within the Parish. You can view the more recent reports by clicking on the links below. If you wish to see older reports then you should contact the Parish office. (Note the Parish may make a small charge in some cases for frequent or multiple requests. )

Full Council - discussion of general matters affecting the Parish. Planning applications are often reviewed here by the full council.

Finance & General Purpose & Planning - separate committees sit to approve finance and review planning matters in detail. These 2 meetings run one after the other on the same night. The Finance meeting is generally no more than 15 minutes.
